1941 Wwii Uncle Sam "v" For Victory Patriotic Postcard Defend Your Country For Sale
OUR CARD/PHOTO # 623. CARD/PHOTO RATING: VERY FINE - VF+ . Not postally used . This is a 1941 WWII Uncle Sam patriotic postcard showing Sam, jacket and hat off, rolling up his shirt sleeves, getting ready to fight. The theme is: DEFEND YOUR COUNTRY. Minor-minimal all around wear/rounding (see images) to card front corner points and edges. There are tiny (approx. 1/16" - 1/32" or less) point tip scuff traces and or tip crimps located right at/on the actual tips of the front upper and lower right corner points (the lower is the larger of the two). There also appears that there may be several (2-3) scattered, very tiny (approx. 1/32" - 1/64" or less) edge scuff "dot spots" or "scuff ghosts" along both the top and bottom front horizontal edges. HOWEVER, ALL of the FRONT CORNER POINTS and EDGES remain VERY FIRM and SHARP. The POSTCARD BACK (see images) is VERY CLEAN and all PRINTED TEXT and the STAMP BOX remain VERY SHARP.
