-standard early war issue in OD #3 khaki tan shade webbed canvas. has the early burnished brass (has surface patina) TWIST-LINK buckle system.....(FYI: later pattern had the black painted zinc steel alloy metal). has the charger retaining straps for each individual pocket pouch....NOT chopped out.
-strong distinct 'U.S.' ink stamp on first pocket pouch....with discernible (HARRINGTON MILLS. INC.) mfgr and 1942 ink stamp on inner band section. note there are NO surplus store prices/pricing written on canvas body....(have encountered so many webbed pieces of fieldgear with circa 1960's ARMY NAVY surplus store with prices simply written on the piece....fieldgear collectors will know this phenomenon).
-standard inner adjustable belt pattern. has burnished brass eyelet grommets to accept M-1910 wire attachment loops.
-condition is GOOD TO DECENT..... webbed canvas is supple flexible, NOT stiff....NOT PRONE TO AGE TEARING! NO overt fraying! NO repairs or tears or rips. has some metal corrosion and patina to the metal fittings and eyelets. LIFT-DOT metal HAVE NOT BEEN PULLED OUT!!! but would strongly suggest you coat each male lift-dot stud with vaseline....also slip a thin blade screwdriver between the metal snaps and then gently torque open. webbing has some age discoloration. there are some minor white goop or paint drops. there is some slight rusting and rust spotting on where the reverse adjustment belt metal end tip is.
-UNBOXED UNBAGGED weight is: 1-lbs & 7.1 ounces.
