For sale are 2 special edition Eiffel Tower souvenir real photo postcards. They are dated 1 December 1944 which is only about 3 months after the liberation of Paris. The first card is number 12 and has a picture of the Dome of Les Invalides. The second card is number 764 and has a panoramic view of Paris. Both cards have a souvenir stamp. The cards have light handling wear, penciled notations on the back and tape remnants similar to stamp hinges on the top. Card number 12 has a light impression made by the bottom of the dated handstamp and card number 764 has a dimple impression made from the pencil.
