France - An American soldier examines some of the clothing that was worn by slave laborers in the Vosges Mountain Prison Camp discovered when the sixth army group drove the Germans from the area. Jewish slaves were forced to wear yellow clothes. The retreating Nazis took all the surviving prisoners with them. Owners of the clothing shown here were probably shot and cremated.Photo measures 7.25 x 9.25inches.
