1945 John Deere LA frame, differential, transmission, steering box, front axle, and front wheels with hub caps. This frame has the original steel serial number tag with a legible serial number. The transmission and rear end turn freely, the transmission shifts easily into all gears and the brakes are free and work effectively. The front axle has no damage or repairs and is very tight with no slack however the steering box does have some play. The front wheels turn freely and also have no damage or repairs. Unfortunately a DIYer has torch trimmed some of the webbing on the front bolster supporting the front axle. (Can plainly be seen in the front end photos) A skilled restorer or metal craftsman could repair this cosmetically or it could be left as is. It does not show with the hood in place. Also there are two tabs welded on the sides of the frame rails at the front that need to be removed. I can store this free of charge for up to six months if need be.
