1947 Ac Oil Filter Service Double Sided Flange Store Advertising Display Sign For Sale
You are offerding on....a 1947 AC OIL FILTER SERVICE Double-Sided Flange Advertising Store Display Sign. On both sides of the flange, it reads: A 1797 Made in U.S.A. 4/47 AMD. It measures 11 3/4" high x 13 1/2" wide; with an 1 1/2" flange. Opposite the flange, there is a factory-made hole in the yellow band, that accommodated a hook to hold an oil filter for display purposes. The original hook was missing when sign was purchased; so a new one was fashioned to achieve the same look, and a period-correct oil filterwas purchased to complete the package. The flange sign has scratches, a few chips, and an additional hole near the top of the flange, as seen in the pictures. A rare sign indeed, with bold color, and a great shine.....I've never seen another one like it! It will make an awesome addition for automobilia collections. Ground shipping (insured with tracking).
