You are looking at a 1947 SPEEDWAY PACEMAKERTETHER CAR, MIDGET RACE CAR, INDY RACE CAR. This OUTSTANDING VINTAGE TETHER RACE CAR IS POWERED BY A POTENTHORNET .60 IGNITION ENGINE...the PACEMAKER HOT SET UP OF THE DAY!!The car is complete withBAKELITE BODY and MAGNESIUM PAN, ALUMINUM WHEELS (the original magnesium wheels having been replaced with the more durable aluminum wheels), REAR WHEEL DRIVE GEARBOX EQUIPPED WITH HEAT TREATED BEVEL GEARS,FLYWHEEL, FUEL TANK, CARBURETOR AIR RAM, COIL, CONDENSER, SHUT OFF SWITCH, BATTERY BOX, and TAIL SKID. The engine is not turning over probably due to old fuel residue.
The car measures 16 inches in length (plus the tail skid) and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION;this VINTAGE TETHER CAR DISPLAYS BEAUTIFULLY!
