You are looking at a 1948 National 1155/ Gibson J-45.
This model was offered from 1948-1961. In '48 into '49, they were completely made by Gibson. After that, National would bolt-on their necks (with plastic heal caps) on to Gibson jumbo bodies.
This guitar came to me in terrible condition, but I knew she was worth restoring. I will describe, to the best of my ability, the work that was done. Please ask any and all questions that you may have in case I miss anything.
