1950 Ohio State Vs Michigan College Football Program. The Famous Snow Bowl Game:
This is an actual program from the Famous Snow Bowl game played November 25th 1950 in Ohio Stadium between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines. This is possibly the most famous games played in this great rivalry between the two schools because of the horrible weather conditions that day in Columbus. The teams played in a foot of snow and 35 mph winds and punted 45 total times. Michigan would win this game 9-3 on a safety and a touchdown off a blocked punt. The Buckeyes scored on a Vic Janowicz field goal. Janowicz would go on to win the Heisman Trophy that year for the Buckeyes. Michigan was lead by Halfback Chuck Ortmann, Fullback Don Duffer and All-American Tackle Allen"Brick"Wahl. The program is in overall really nice shape. It has some minor wear on the front cover with the bottom right pages slightly turned up and the front cover has come loose about an inch on the bottom left. But the binding is really tight and has both staples. There is no writing of any kind on or in the program and all the pages are in excellent shape with lots of player pictures of both teams. The program also the the two page Chesterfield ad with the team rosters. It has a Lucky Strike ad, Coca-Cola ad with scores from previous Ohio State vs Michigan 1929-1949. I have sold alot of College football programs on and this is in nice shape for a 1950. I have checked many times and have not seen a program from this famous game on there recently. Please offer with confidence, I have 100% positive response. Thanks and good luck.
