I'm selling a terrific toy, a Clown Unicyclist made by TPS of Japan. It measures 5 & 1/2 " or 14 cm high and it iscomplete & all original. It is in excellent, lightly played with condition with a nice glossy, very colorful tin surface. It is in very good working condition. When wound, the motor makes the clown peddle his unicycle & wave his arms in a very amusing and entertaining fashion. I really love this toy but it is not perfect. There is some minor areas of wear, particularly along the edges. TPS windups tend to be very strong and durable and this motor is no exception. Occasionally the toy does stop and start a bit but to me that adds to the entertainment value of the toy. The colors are bright & sharp; the toy is ariot of stripes & poka dots. He is all tin, no fabric is used. The final photo shows this toy as shown on page 65 of the terrific book about the great TPS company Japanese Toys: Amusing Playthings From The Past.
