1950's Commodore Christmas NOEL ANGEL Elf Candle Holders w Candles in Box

This is a rare set of NOEL candle holder figurines with candles in their box.

The box says "NOEL ANGELS CANDLE HOLDERS" on it but the figurines look more like pixie elves than angels.

The figurines range in height from 3 1/4" to 3". They are made of hand painted delicate china with a gloss glaze.

The red candles are 2 1/4" long and fit in the top of the girl's holly topped heads. They are unused and come in their original box.

The set is in very good condition--no repairs, chips, cracks or crazing. The red candy stripes and green holly show a few spots of wear due to age.

The Commodore sticker is on the bottom of the "N" elf.

Note: the original Newberrys sticker of 57 cents is still on the box top. Sorry I can't sell it for that price!
