1950s Craftsman Machinist's Tool Chest -- Complete, Has Keys, Needs Restored For Sale
Offered for offer is an estate sale find; it is a 1950s Craftsman machinist's toolchest that is complete, has two keys and is in restorable condition. The red paint is obviously not original. The executor of the estate said the deceased "color coded" his toolboxes by what machines or vehicles the tools inside were for. All the drawers are there and one has had its drawer pull replaced with something else. Picture #3 shows that it has a Quist Motors Inc dealership badge attached to the chest along with a rack to hold sockets. Picture #4 shows the keys at the lower-left as well as the full front view of the chest. It is metal (steel; a magnet sticks to it) and has a shipping weight of about 40 pounds. The handle, latches and lock assembly are original to the chest. offerding starts at just $18.50 plus shipping to get it sold. See below for a word on shipping.
