1950s Resident Alien Border Crossing Id Card~san Ysidro, Ca Port Of Entry:
This 3" by 5" RESIDENT ALIEN'S BORDER CROSSING IDENTIFICATION CARD, issued by the U.S. Department of Justice Immigration And Naturalization Service, was issued to a woman born in Italy in 1887, who lived in Los Angeles, California at the time of issue in 1950. The card was to be presented to any U.S. Immigrant Inspector at a Port of Entry as evidence of rightful status as a lawful permanent resident of the United States on the date of issue. This card, with the woman's photo stapled in, shows that she was admitted back into the U.S. at San Ysidro, California on May 20, 1951. This vintage card, showing some light wear from age, use, and storage, will make a fine addition to any collection.
