This is an amazing 1950s hat that looks like a flying saucer! I have not seen a hat like it before. Very Atomic! Made by Wm. Sliverman. The top and underside of the hat is made of a finely woven straw. The round top is a blend of brown and navy blue, with the overall color a brown. The underside is navy blue with a hint of brown. The ivory fabric on the top and the cute bow in front are made of silk faille. There is a navy blue velvet ribbon band inside the hat. There is the remnants of a navy blue veil but, sadly, most of it is missing. It measures 21\" in circumference. It\'s in very good condition, with the exception of the veil, and a tiny, very light brown mark on the back of the ivory fabric.
