1951 Cadillac 4 Door Friction Sedan 12" Long Marusan Kosuge For Sale
1951 Cadillac 4 Door Sedan. Made in Japan by Marusan/Kosuge. 12" long tin friction operated car is in very good to excellent condition. The friction mechanism is in working order. Paint is in fairly nice shape. On close inspection there is some roughness in several areas, mostly the truck lid and rear quarter panels. Looks like a combination of spidering and bad metal prep at the factory prior to painting. At a glance it isn't noticeable. The bumpers have some areas of chrome loss. The window plastics are professional replacements. Litho'd interior has two small areas of factory touchup. The rubber tires are in very nice shape with very minimal wear. The whitewalls have a couple of touchups. This example appears to never have had a tin license plate. There are no tabs holes to indicate there was ever one there. A paper one is glued on that appears to read "CADI" on the top line. Overall a reasonably nice example that displays well.
