1952 Gibson J-45 J45 Acoustic Guitar With Case:
Up for sale is a 1952 Gibson J-45 J45 Acoustic Guitar. It is in very good condition. The pickguard has lifted slightly and caused a surface crack to run from the sound hole under the pickguard down towards the bridge (I don't think it is through the body). I got a luthier repair estimate of $50 to fix it (he said a couple of cleats and some glue will do it). The tuners were changed because the original tuner buttons (tips) crumbed but I still have the originals which are included in the sale and you can get replacement buttons and put the original tuners back on. No other cracks or repairs to the body or neck. The saddle has been shaved as low as it can go. It plays fine and the action is good right now but with the saddle as low as it can possibly go it will probably need a neck reset in the future. It has a very clean body, super smooth and clean neck andfret board and frets are in great shape with very little wear.Nice looking and sounding guitar. It comes with a case and the original tuners.

Thanks for looking. On May-06-13 at 08:00:41 PDT, seller added the following information:
Here is a video of the strings being plucked from top to bottom. I do not play guitar and do not have much knowledge of guitars. I have a few that have come in to my possession over the years and know some people who play. I enjoy music and consider guitars sort of like ART that plays music. I love to collect a variety of old things including guitars and musical items. I buy and sell antiques and old stuff including some guitars. I decided to try selling some stuff on . If you like it place a offer or make an offer to buy it.
PLEASE check out the video of the strings being plucked. I can only make a guess at this point and say the guitar needs a neck reset. Itook a measurement (with a caliper) for an er at the 12th fret upper (low) E string and it was 5/32nds of an inch off that fret to the string. The saddle is as low as it can possibly go. I was also told the case may not be original and I have not represented it as such...it is just a case the guitar came in.
If any of this information makes you want to cancel your offer please feel free to do so. The guitar is in very good condition except as noted above in the description and as shown in the photos.
