1953 Bogen H30 Vintage Tube Amp Modified Into 3 Channel Tweed Fender Hybrid For Sale
You are offerding on a Bogen H30, 30 watt vintage tube amplifier from 1953. This beautiful tone monster has changed into a 3 channel Bogen / Fender hybrid and is plug and play ready! Here's what was done: Channel one is the stock Bogen circuit, which is basically the same as the bigger Tweed Fenders (Super, Pro, etc) . The 6SF5 on Channel 2 has been changed to a 6SJ7 and the circuit is now the classic Tweed Fender 5C1 Champ. Channel 3 is the standard Blackface Fender circuit. All 3 channels can be used at same time by plugging into Channel one. The usesless tone switch has been changed into a normal tone pot that works with all 3 channels. PI and power sections are Tweed Fender (Super, Pro, etc). The 3 inputs are on the side, the speaker out jack is on back. All pots cleaned. 3 prong power cord added for safety. Power outlet on back now standby switch.Switchcraft jacks, Carbon Comp resistors, Mojo Dijon, Weber and TAD caps used. Speaker output taps are 4, 8 or 16 ohms. The tube lineup is two 6SF5s (National Electronics, think they are rebadged RCAs), 6SJ7 (RCA), 6SL7GT (Sylvania), two brand new, perfectly matched Sovtek 6L6WXT+s (6L6GCs) and 5U4GB (RCA). All test good on my Hickok 6000. Shipping is $40 for UPS ground to lower 48.Willing to sell international, if you're willing to cover shipping.
