This is for a very rare 1955 zenith royal 500 with the leather case, cloth bag, earphone, and the original operating guidelets start off by saying that it looks Great its a 8.5 to 9 out of 10 and it works great It has a VERY LOW serial number of 11353 and a date code of 549 and 550 (49th and 50th week of 1955) this was the first year for this iconic radio it also has the original 7XT40 and the VERY RARE BLACK ROUNDED SYLVANIA TRANSISTORS it has had one capacitor replaced and it plays fantastic in the day I can get stations from Denver Co and that\'s about 220 miles from me and for a early royal 500 that\'s very good at night I can get stations as far away as Texas and that\'s 300-500 miles depending where there coming from and even a news station from salt lake city Utah witch is 600 miles and over the Rockies.this is your chance to own a very rare piece of history who knows if one will come up with this low of a serial numberever again would make a great conversation piece or bragging rights.Ask any questions you might have thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.
