140pages,goodcondition. There\'s considerable scrapbook residue on the back cover (see scan). The top right corners of the front cover and first three pages are torn off, and the bottom right corners of the front cover and first eight pages are bent. Several other pages have small bends on the top and bottom right corners. The binding is tight, and the interior pages are clean.

1956Orange Bowlprogram -The Oklahoma Sooners notched their 30th consecutive win in the \'56 Orange Bowl when they outlasted the stout Maryland Terrapins. Both clubs entered the game with 10-0 records. Oklahoma had won the Big 8 championship, while the Terps were Atlantic Coast Conference co-champs. With the victory, the Sooners won the national championship, and Maryland was ranked #3.

This game also marked the legendary Jack Tatum\'s last game as head coach at Maryland.

His squad proved a worthy opponent for Bud Wilkinson\'s Sooners. Maryland halfback Ed Vereb drew first blood when he rambled 15 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. Following the halftime festivities, the Sooners roared out for the second half an racked up 20 unanswered points - Tommy McDonald scored on a four yard run. Jay O\'Neal followed that up with a 1-yard sneak to give the Sooners a 14-6 lead, and Carl Dodd electrified the crowd with an 82-yard interception return to slam the door on the Terps and give Oklahoma the 20-6 victory.

The Maryland lineup featured - Frank Tamburello, Vereb, Fred Hamilton, Jack Healy, Bill Walker and Russell Dennis.

The Sooner headliners included - Jim Harris, McDonald, Billy Pricer, Robert Burris, Joe Mobra and Bob Timberlake.
