1950\'s KANGAROO DRESSER CADDY
Like In The Film \"PULP FICTION\"
- Estate Fresh - Found in Old House! -This boxing kangaroo comes to you estate fresh from an old Jersey City, New Jersey home we recently liquidated (one of those types of houses where generations never threw anything away). Found packed away among dozens of trunks and boxes, this lot has sat undisturbed for decades.
It measures approx. 7-1/4\" high and 5-3/4\" wide. These were made by the legendary McCoy Pottery for Fine Enterprises Inc. circa 1956. If you\'ve seen the film \"Pulp Fiction\" then no doubt remember the cute little boxing Kangaroo where Bruce Willis keeps his watch, the precious family heirloom that poor Christopher Walken kept up his a** for two years…but I digress here. The dresser caddy has a well in the front pouch area for keys/change, a slot on the side for a man\'s wallet and, of course, you slip your watch over his tail. Please note that this is not a reproduction, but the real deal and now nearly years old! Overall great condition w/ no chips or cracks. Some faint crazing in spots. The fellow\'s a bit weighty, thus the postage costs.
I\'m not an expert on items like this, so I\'ve included many large images below for your grading needs.
This lot will certainly make a splendid addition to any McCoy Pottery or Quentin Tarantino collection.
