1959 All-Star Game Program, played at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh on July 7, 1959 in conjunction with Pittsburgh's Bi-Centennial.
For the first time, baseball had added a second All-Star game, to help with the player's pension fund, youth baseball, and old time players. This was the first of two games played in 1959.
The National League defeated the American League 5-4 when Willie Mays' eighth inning triple drove in Hank Aaron, who had tied the game with a single. Whitey Ford took the loss.
Eddie Mathews homered for the National League, and Al Kaline homered for the A.L.
