1959 Original Barbie Doll #1, Blonde Ponytail, No Reserve Unrestored Beauty For Sale

For your consideration is a rare #1 Blonde Ponytail Barbie from 1958. This Barbie has not been restored our touched up in any way. It was discovered with a group ofother vintage clothing andan original Barbie cardboard dream house.

This doll has a beautiful face with bright red lips and flawless eyebrows andbright whiteeyes. You can still see the red in her nostrils. She does have a little bit of dirt around her nose which I think can be easily cleaned off but I have not touched itso that I do not damage her. She has a very small scratch on her left cheek. I barely noticed it. It is very light and measures 1/8". She is wearing earrings that the doll was found in. I did check underneath them and there are no green stains in her ears.

Her hair is in pretty good condition with all of her curls still in tact. It does not appear to have been cut but I am not an expert so please study the pictures carefully.

She is missingthe first twofingers on her right hand andthe pinkyon her left. Her toes are missing onthe leftfoot. Otherwise her body is in good overall condition. She does have some very light dirt from age and probably from being played with and two tiny little spots on her back in the middle.

Shehas the holes in her feet and one metal tube. She is marked Japan on the bottom of her feet. Her butt reads Barbie 1958 in roman numerals MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc.and there is a 35 on the other side of her butt.

I am including her original glasses. They are missing their arms, so it is just the rims, but I thought they should still accompany the doll.

This sale incudes $1 packaging charge in the shippng to cover the cost of the box and bubble wrap. Shipping charges are actual charges base on wieght plus $1.

I accept Paypal for payment. Please pay for you sale within 3 days. I will automatically start the non-paying buyer process on the 4th day of non-payment if I have not heard from you and made arrangements.  This is not personal it is just standard because of those people who choose not to pay.  Please contact me if you need more time to pay for your item. All shipping is done through USPS. I include a delivery confirmation on all orders. I pack all items carefully with bubble wrap and eco-peanuts and double box items that are very fragile to make sure they arrive to you in pristine condition! I ship 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday. I do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or a closed Holiday for the U.S. Post Office.

I do ship internationally. Please be aware if you choose to ship your item First Class International there is no insurance available for this service. I will not be able to reimburse for items damaged or lost in shipping if this service is selected. International Buyers Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding or buying.

Due to the cost of shipping fragile items, packing materials, insurance, etc.,  I do include a handling charge on my items.  I am very reasonable with the charge and I am not trying to make a profit of the shipping. I am only covering my expenses and the 11% that charges me on your shipping paid. I am happy to combine shipping if you purchase multiple items from me.  Please wait for an invoice before paying.

Please do not offer on my items if you think my shipping is too expensive.  I work very hard to maintain my seller status and when you mark someone a 1 or a 2 on shipping and handling in your response it jeapordizes this ranking.  I am trying to be as upfront as possible about my business practices so that we can all be happy!

I will gladly refund your money if the item is not what you thought it should be and it is returned to me in the condition it was sent out in within 14 days of you receiving it. Buyer has to pay all return shipping costs. On special occasions when I sell something on consignment I will not offer a return policy.  I will clearly note this in the listing.
