This original photograph came out of a local estate. This photo was taken September 12, 1960 during Senator Kennedy and Johnson campaign visit to Houston, TX. Bob Eckhardt was a member of the Texas House of Representatives at this time and would be elected to the 8th congressional district of the US House of Representatives in 1966. An interesting note is Bob Eckhardt used this photo in his offer for election to the US House in 1966. The photograph measures 9” x 7” and is in very good condition with the following noted: the number “36” is written on the lower left corner and also on the back of the photograph and the white spots that appear in the photo are probably from a flaw in the negatinve.
