Scarce 1960 campaign poster. Many people do not realize that in 1960, Lyndon Johnson ran against John F Kennedy for the Democratic nomintation for President. When Kennedy won the nomination Johnson became Kennedy\'s running mate and later became Vice President. \"A Leader to Lead the Nation - Johnson for President\" is a poster produced during Johnson\'s primary battle. It\'s not in the best of shape, but few of these carboard posters come up for sale at all.
Size: 13 1/2\" x 21 1/2\"
Condition: Bright classic, red, white and blue colors. Crease in center from being folded in the center. Two staple holes where the poster was attached to a pole or wall, overall wear and edge marks.
