This lamp has been newly rewired with a 3-way socket and a cord with a polarized plug. It is made from two pieces of blown glass, with a couple tiny bubbles scattered about. The bottom piece is almost 9” wide. You can see through the glass, but it is darker than what you see in the photos. There are two gold stripes painted in the middle and one in the skinny part of the neck that is partially faded or worn. There is mostly only very minor scratches which you would be hard pressed to find. There is one section which I had to hold next to a light at just the right angle so that you could see it. The metal base and top have some tarnish spots and scratches that you would expect from a vintage (GS 6.9.7 (625))
