EDWARDIAN-VICTORIAN

TAILORED

Thank you for viewing my sale for a unique hand-made leather motorcycle jacket from thelate 1960\'s LondonCarnaby Streetera.

Along with the stylish turnover collar, the longish silhouette was tapered in the waist to provide a trim, Edwardianfit, butstill be comfortable wearing on a motorcycle (Norton Commando to be specific). The 4 belt loops areriveted in place to hold the leather belt. 4 slightly pleated patch pockets with 2 snap closures each enhance the look.Although not padded, the shoulders are squared and the armholes are fashioned a bit higher for a sleek tailored look. The inside is unlined.

CONDITION: As you can see, there is a nice 45 year patina to the jacket showing slight wear and variations to the color. There are no tears, gouges or scratches, in fact the leather is barely broken in. The edges of the cuffs and collar show the slightest bit of wear and except for a few unnoticeable loose stitches on the bottom right pocket, there are no flaws.

ONE-OF-A-KIND: This is a chance for truly unique, one-off leather wear that will last forever.

Please view the extralarge photos top left for detail, design and condition, which is considered part of this description.
