1960s Danish Modern Ufo Hanging Lamp Fixture Mid Century Vintage For Sale
Hanging UFO Lamp Fixture, Denmark, c. 1960sPlease read our payment terms below prior to offerding, thank you.Vintage modern hanging pendant lamp fixture, similar in design and quality to the Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulson lamps, this example was also produced in Denmark in the 1960s.All metal with an anodized pale bronze hue exterior and white enamel interior. This is beautifully crafted with the design allowing for glare free illumination. The reflectors ensure that light is directed both vertically and horizontally. Uses a single standard size light bulb (no max wattage given, but others along these lines we had had in the past in this size that have had their original labels usually say 60w or so). Light bulb is not included.The lamp hard wires to your ceiling (standard 2 wire) and retain the original white plastic ceiling hugger cap. If you want to swag it and plug into a wall outlet, simply rewire with a longer cord and put a plug on the end....entire job would take you 10 min. , so have fun!measurementsAbout 14” diameter by about 8" high. Cord is about 5 feet in length (easily shortened or lengthened).conditionIn very nice condition and working perfectly. Surface has some very subtle minor scuffs and bottom tier ring is ever ever ever so slightly out of level which can be virtually invisible depending on the vexing angle, its really a non issue, but mentioned for thoroughness.
