1960s Kaiser 45097 Desk / Table Lamp Bauhaus Mid Century Danish Modern 50s 70s For Sale

You are offerding on a 1960sKaiser Leuchten desklamp Type 45097. The lampshade is made ofsheet metal lacquered forest green on the outside and white on the inside to maximise light reflection. There is one bulb casing. The stem and foot are made of a single nickel plated square section fitted with two jointsoneither side of the lampshade so that its angle can be adjusted. The original switch is placed at the back of the lampshade.

The lamp is in good conditionand in full working order. There are age related marks and scratches on the inner white lacquer work. The forest green lacquer work presents with a few age related marks and scratches. The nickel plated square section presents with a few age related marks and blemishes. However, these do not interfere with the overall look of the piece. The lamptakes one small Edison screw (screw fit) bulb. It is fitted with a UK plug. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.
