1961 Vintage 12\" Jolly Toys Vinyl Baby Doll

in blue dress and white sandals

Made by Jolly Toys in 1961, the doll appears to be a copy of the famousVogue Baby Dear dollsinspired by the works ofchildren’s books illustrator,Eloise Wilkins. She has vinyl limbs and head with rooted synthetic hair. She is approximately 12\" tall and has a cloth body.It appears that the doll may have had a winding movement but it is no longer there.

Condition:

Vinyl limbs and head are in great condition with light sign of wear. Tiny wear on her right pinky. Her hair is rooted and in good condition. Doll\'s body is showing moderate stain and thread wear. Rivet button on her back is showing rust. It appears that there may have been a winding movement in the doll but it is no longer there. Her outfit is in great condition. The threading indicates that it may have been removed at some point by the previous owner. Actual item for sale is shown in photos. Please examine them carefully to further evaluate the item’s current cosmetic condition.
