1964 Gibson Reverse Firebird I Vintage Guitar Brazilian Rosewood Mahogany T-top:
1964 Gibson reverse Firebird I guitar
7 Pounds 3 Ounces!!!!!!
MONSTER guitar right here! This is a player grade guitar that has modifications! If you want a classic Firebird I with EXTRA muscle, this is it! If my memory serves me this is very much like the beloved Paul Stanley of Kiss used guitar. Paul's Firebird 1 was black...and I'm petty certain it too had been modified to a full sized humbucker. His was busted in the studio, and since then he said it was the best guitar he ever owned.
Guitar has no headstock or neck issues. Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, re-fretted with taller wire, has banjo tuners. Plugged hole where a volume pot use to reside on the guard. Someone seriously played this beast as it looks like sweat worked it way under the lacquer around the pots! Pickup is a correct era T-Top full sized Gibson humbucker. Gibson hardshell case.
This is one of , if not the greatest, Bird I have ever played!
7 Pounds 3 Ounces!!!!!!
I am pricing this guitar for what I think it WILL bring in today's world!
I might consider a "partial" trade on this puppy. What would I be interested in?
1. Vintage 1950's or 1960s Gibson Double Neck guitar.
2. Vintage wood neck Kramer guitars with interesting airbrushed graphics.
3. Vintage 1930-1933 Electric guitars.
4. Vintage Jim Kelley amp.
5. Vintage Trainwreck amp. (Snicker.)
6. Fractal Audio Axe Fx II.
7. Vintage EMS Synthi Hi-Fli Effect.
8. API 3124+, Neve 1073 (New or old), A Designs Pacifica, and True Systems Precision 8 mic pres.
9. Vintage RCA 77 mic.
10. Any vintage Neaumann mics.
Other fun stuff I am interested in:
Vintage Wurlitzer 750, 800 or 1015 Jukebox.
Vintage Cavalier CS-72, CS-96 or C-55 Coke Machine.
Vintage Pre-1930s Telephone Switchboard.
Vintage 1930's Tokheim 871 Gas Pump.
I would also consider 1930s-1960s porcelain or neon signs...but they would have to rock like a mutha.
