1965 Cts 10" Ceramic Magnet Speaker- From 1965 Fender Super Reverb No Reserve:
This sale is for a genuine (NOT a reproduction) CTS brand 10" speaker with a ceramic magnet structure. I got a couple of these speakers out of a real 1965 Fender Super Reverb Amp. Being from a 40 watt Super Reverb this speaker can handle a good amount of power. It would be great for restoring your old Fender amp or as a sonic upgrade for a new or repro amp! The speaker's production code of 137509 indicates manufacture by CTS in the 9th week of 1965, so around early March 1965. I believe this 8 ohm speaker has been professionally reconed. It is in very good cosmetic condition and perfect working condition. I was using this speaker in one of my old Fender Princeton Reverb amps and it sounded superb! I sold the amp so now this speaker can go to another tone hound guitarist or perhaps harp player?! These vintage speakers have a warmth and richness that can't be duplicated by a repro speaker. And I have the opening offer priced LOW, LOW (way below what a vintage dealer would be selling it for!) so it is affordable to boot! I have set the price way below the speaker's value to promote interest and offerding! Note my 100% perfect, long term (over 1100 transactions!) response and offer with confidence! Prompt, properly packed shipping upon completion of payment! Happy offerding!
