1967 Gibson J45 No Reserve Auction:
1967 Gibson J45 in amazing condition, cool weather checking. In 1967 they made a limited amount of the dark sunburst finish, this is a rare guitar. SOUND! I own 2 other Gibson banner head 1940s guitars, they are in the pictures with this guitar. This guitars tone is right in step with them, it's one of the more well balanced gibson's that I have played, I love a nice low end on my gibson's, and this one has a deep low end, it rumbles. But it also has wonderful treble highs. Like I said a beautiful well balanced variety all throughout the range. This guitar is in amazing condition for its age. It is crack free. On the base of the headstock, there is a finish crack, but it is just in the finish. Check out picks. This guitar stays in tune perfectly, and DOES NOT need a neck reset. The action is low right now with 3/8ths of an inch break on the saddle. It's very easily playable all the way up the neck. I really hate to see this guitar go from my collection. We have a baby coming. Time to prepare, this is a sale, highest buyer wins. Good luck!
