Description :
This Limoges porcelain book shaped flask measures 4 1/2 inches wide, 7 1/2 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches deep. In 1969, this flask was of limited production by the L. Bernardaud company. It commemorated the bi-centennial of the reign of Napoleon as emperor of France. The portrait of Napoleon is very detailed and the numerous gilt decorations are also very crisp. It once contained 4/5 quart of Camus Grande Marquis Cognac. Its condition is excellent; there are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs and it comes in its original box. Signed and numbered (see bottom picture).
