This sale is for a very handsome Panamanian coin minted in 1972 to commemorate FAO - Food and Agriculture Organization, an agency of the United Nations helping to eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition. The coin is in mint condition, catalogued and graded by IGC as MS65, very high for a circulation coin.

Obverse of this coin depicts a hand holding a bunch of wheat with writing “ASENTAMIENTO CAMPESINO” translating to “PEASANT SETTLEMENT”, reverse displays a standard for Panama coins National Coat of Arms. Avers of the coin is of a bright silver color while the revers shows a bit of patination.
