A1973 Bicentennial Thomas Jeffersondrafting the Declaration of Independence commemorative plate,solid sterling silver, inlaid and electroplated with 24KT Gold.
This is a Limited Edition by the Franklin Mint. The plate is 8\" and weighs 238 grams and has been kept in original box since purchased in 1973 - in excellent condition. Certificate of Authenticity and all original paperwork is included.
To preserve the superb finish of the plate, there is a protected fine transparent coating, with normal care, the plate will not tarnish. Do not wash the plate-simply wipe with soft cloth. Do not use silver cleaner, this will damage the protective coating. To remove plate from case, press down on one edge of the plate, and the opposite edge will lift for easy removal.
