1974 Jim Rumph Hermaphrodite Creature One Of A Kind Pottery Sculpture For Sale

We have for sale a Jim Rumph Hermaphrodite Creature, it has some issues, so please read and look at all the photo's. I purchased this original one of a kind Jim Rumph hand done sculpture on back in 2004. When I purchased him in 2004, he traveled from California to Pa. The original owner's description said he was made in 1974? The original owner took him to a shipper and had him professionally packaged for the journey and he was fully insured. But even though it was professionally packed, it arrived with damage. They took the creature and packed him inside the altar. Well the creature shifted in transit and the result was a broken horn and a large chunk taken out of the corner of the altar. Well the shipper would not agree to pay for the full purchased price of the damaged piece, but we did come to agreement that allowed me to keep the one of a kind piece and have it repaired. In looking over the altar today I truly cannot see where it was repaired. Due to the hand sculpting and forming of the creature the horn looks great to the unknowing eye. NOW as I look over the piece with a magnifying glass, I see a area around it's right leg and appendage where it may of been damaged before I bought it in 2004? Then again it may of been that way in the making. There is a fine crack line that shows some white unpainted areas in the nooks and crannies. Personally I don't think it is distraction, and like I said I never saw it until I pulled out the magnifying glass, plus it would be a easy cover up, due to the rough nature of the piece. The creature and altar have been sitting under glass since 2004. The Creature measures about 7 3/4" tall. The hollow casted altar is about 8"x12.5" 5 1/4". The little skulll stein will be coming along. Below is the original owners description when sold on in 2004. And you can check out more info on it on the Rumph website. ********** "This creature has to be kept chained on this sacrificial altar to keep him/her out of trouble. A horned green creature with 4 woman's breasts and 2 men's penises. He/she has a short tail and is squatting down with one penis under his foot and the other laying on top of the other foot. Her eyes are looking at a butterfly perched on a staff in her right hand. Manacles on one hand and both ankles. I've added the 100 year old skull drinking mug for the creatures use. The altar has demonic faces on both ends and the top has grooves for the blood to drain off. It measures 13" wide (altar) and both pieces as shown are 14" tall.
