NOTE:
Please! Please! read before offerding on my sale...Please do not
offer if you have NOT read the description and looked at all features
of the item up for sale. I may use the words “small, little,
miniature, tiny” as all meaning the same thing. The same with
large, big, bold, huge, etc. Consider the measurements as well as
the words to see if this is what you want. I have no patience for
the ridiculous. The old adage sometimes applies, “if in doubt,
don't. It is more work than I have time for when dealing with
unhappy buyers. Questions are always welcomed. My items are
“sold as is” and usually purchased at estate sales and sales.
Sometimes I can find their information in my reference books or on
the internet. If not, then I depend on my images and
descriptionsto do the job. I do appreciate
your business and thank you for considering this item.

This is a beautiful stamp. Unfortunately I took the pictures later in the night and did not get the depth of the image. I read one person's experience on concerning the purchase of a fraudulent stamp, which he was able to return and get his money back. He showed two pictures and explained the difference between each. Also, google.com was helpful. So what I learned is that the the paper has a ripple effect or a digital effect on the repro. The monkey appears flat on my stamp but that is because of the poor lighting when I took it. If you look at this stamp with a magnifying glass, the image has depth and texture. You can see the way the hair lies on the monkey as well as the way he is sitting and various other artistic nuances by the engraver. You can pick up more red in his face that the camera did not pick up. According to the Scott Stamp Catalogue, the image was engraved and then printed with the photogravure process. This is very discernible with the use of a magnifying glass. So what I am trying to say, I believe this stamp to be the real deal. Please advise me if you think otherwise and why.

Per request, I have added three more pictures. The fifth picture was taken under a magnifying glass. I have a very old camera and too much glare going on around the stamp but I think that you get to see the engraver's lines a little clearer than the first two images. Again, I hope this helps.

O K Folks...still getting more help and the more help I get the more convinced I am that this is the real deal. I took the last three images with my "Old" camera in the morning light. I think that you see more depth in the monkey. Also, I purchased a huge lot of these 1980 China unhinged stamps and I have been researching them and everyone is a winner...no reproductions made on these. So I have to believe this is not a reproduction or fraudulent stamp. Thanks for all your patience in reading my dialogues.
