This highly collectible beer steinwas 2nd in the ongoing Anheuser Busch Budweiser Holiday series that started in 1980, and is without a doubt the rarest and most sought after piece of the entire collection.
Budweiser's World Famous Clydesdales horse team is depicted in beautiful raised high relief detail in the Snowy Woodland - Birch tree forest theme of this beer stein.
This is the rarest of all the Budweiser holiday steins. Story has it that when these steins were being shipped via train, the train derailed and a large number of the 1981 steins were destroyed.
Handcrafted by Ceramarte of Brazil & marked as such on the bottom.
The number "4" is also impressed on the bottom
I have readthat only the first 100 of the CS 50 steins were marked with a number on the bottom, but am uncertain of the validity of that claim.
