1986 Aria Pro II SB 1000. Super clean and plays flawlessly. There are dings and pick scratches as can be expected but still absolutely gorgeous finish in my opinion.
I have been selling off my collection of SB basses over the past few years. There are only three I intended to keep (out of what was 13) of which this one was included. Each of the three keepers have their own unique quality - this one the modifications I had done for a gig I was doing many years ago. In the end though, time and age make it easier to leave the past behind.
Mods: The pick up is a passive Reed James SB direct replacement. The coil switch is now a KILL SWITCH (quite a bit of fun). There is no Tone Knob or Tone Selector. In summation, it was tweaked to be a bare bone Rocker Bass - Volume and Kill Switch only.
Included will be all the original guts/electronics and pots, but not the original pick up.
This bass (as all my basses need to be ) is \'gig ready.\' Performs and function perfectly. The pick up sound I would describe as pure SB in it\'s \'standard\' playing set up (selector on full tone).
Includes a USED Fender padded soft shell case in good functional condition.
