1991 Franklin Mint Chess Set of the Gods Roman Greek COMPLETE Board Pieces
To say this chess set is stunning is an understatement! The board
and white playing pieces were factory sealed until I opened them to take photos.
The only reason I am saying the black pieces were not factory new is that the
plastic wrapping bags are strangely absent around the pieces themselves. Board
itself measures 21 1/4" x 21 1/4" x 4". All identification sheets are present,
with the exception of one of the white columns, a rook. Certificate of
Authenticity included. Some of the ID cards have some yellow spotting, most
likely from humidity at some point. The boxes show signs of shelf wear, but
again, the board and pieces are absolutely perfect. Board has a marble top
playing surface, with a velvet lined interior meant to store the playing pieces.
Pieces are sculpted out of porcelain with 24K gold accents. Pieces measure
between 3" and 5 1/2" high on average. Don't pass up on the opportunity to own
this amazing Franklin Mint chess set. All original boxes and packaging included.
Flat rate shipping is set at $120. This rate is from South
Florida, where we are located, to the northwest corner of Washington state. If
