This Incredible shade has to be seen & held in person to be able to fully see, feel, & appreciate the superior Quality and Craftsmanship of this Hand Blown Victorian Shade! 1st-The glass has a swirl pattern blown into the glass. 2nd--It rings like a bell (Because it is/was made out of High Quality Flint Glass that has a high lead content!) 3rd They were deeply cut to aid in detail & to give depth so as to give a more 3d rich look.4th-- The patterns are extremely detailed so as to be realistic & lifelike. 5th The Hand crimped angled scalloped edges are/were very delicate & have a beautiful intricacy to them. 6th-- By being made out of flint glass & having the relief swirl pattern in the glass makes it so when then the light passes through it, it makes the flowers sparkle with color but yet gives a warm softness to the background!
