A buyer has asked: What is the material under the gold plating?
It looks like brass inside the needle case. The scissor blades and awl needle appear to be steel. The hook almost appears to be rose gold, but maybe it's copper. The attached loop at the end of the chain appears to be brass. Hope this helps.
***In re-examining the tools for this buyer, I see that I missed noticing, that at one time, the inside of one of the scissor handles began to split along the seam from the base. Someone repaired it and did an excellent job. I have posted a close-up to show the split. I do my best to photograph, document, and research every item I list. I apologize for missing this, and I completely understand if anyone wishes to retract their offer.***
