Here you have a pair of late 19th Century WalnutLouis XVI boudoir chairs. Serpentine beaded crest continuing surrounding the ovalshaped molding frames. Upholstered cotton stripe pattern beige fabric. Held bytapered fluted reed legs and decorative carving on the apron and above the legs.Original walnut frame with has a nice patina. Solid repairs on the back of theframes (see photos) not revealed from the front of the frames, does not affectthe structure of these chairs, very sound and stable.
