On offerthis antique solid bronze footed inkwell which dates mid 1800. The inkwell issigned by HIPPOLYTE HEIZLER who is a well known France sculptor and lived1828-1871 (google). The inkwell has a decoration of lynxes and pigeons. As fordecoration he almost always used animals as an example. One of the pigeons carries a book and the other one a feather.

Excellentcondition and a great collector’s item.
