Nice Antique piece of Mourning Jewellery ~ C.1846~in the form of a\"Memorial Locket\"~ with engraved decoration ~ and woven hair encased inside.
The inscription inside reads:
\"Wm Watts ~ Obit 27 April, 1846 ~ det 63\"
It has no hallmarks to indicate it being gold ~ and we believe it is most probably pinchbeck.
Measures approx2.5cm x 3cmin size.
Good condition for it\'s age.
