19th Century Flask Hand Hammered Silver Plated 16 0z Container For Sale
Tall and lean, this hand hammered silver plated flask is marked "P.S. Co./ 2304/ 16 oz" (on the part that joins the top cover to the flask/ see photo 5).
As you can see in the photos, all of the flask's parts appear to be still intact. The tarnish on this lovely item reflects its age.
On the front , where it is hammered, there is a diamond engraved in the top left corner.
The back, which is smooth, is intentionally dented in (that is the actual design).
The top cover screws on and off easily.
This 19th century silver plated flask should prove to be an interesting conversation starter and look beautiful in your home.
Including the cover at the top, this inches (24 cm) high and is4.5 inches (11 cm) wide. It is just short of 1 inch (2 cm) thick. It, as the above-mentioned marking states, is designed to hold 16 ounces of liquid.
