19th Century French Gilt Bronze/Brass Ormolu BACCHUS Candelabra/Lamp Base Parts

DIMENSIONS

14 1/2" tall at top of heads.

19 1/2" tall at top of threaded center rod.

8 1/2" wide at feet. Total weight 20 pounds.

DESCRIPTION

Fine 19th century gilt bronze candelabra, probably French.

Very high quality cast with hand chased detailing.

The center with three highly detailed Bacchus heads on long legs with hooved feet.

The base adorned with similar faces in relief, supported by three paw feet.

No signature or hallmarks found.

CONDITION

This is being sold as found. A previous owner wanted it to fit against

a wall so two of the arms were removed, present whereabouts unknown.

It was found in pieces so Im not sure the arrangement shown is correct or

if additional pieces are missing. I have included 52 photos showing everything in detail.

There are a few spots with heavy green tarnish/patina.

This would make a great lamp base. .

We are available for pick ups Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm.
