This original painted wooden chest is painted a deep blue green color.

Possible traveling desk or document chest.

Solid wood construction.

It has a key hole on the front. (no key)

Forged iron hinges and square nail construction.

It measures 21 1/2\" x 17 1/2\" and is 13\" deep

There is wear throughout from age/use, such as, worn away paint, a couple small missing pieces of wood, nicks, indents, and scratches throughout the wood, some small cracks, spots/marks, a crooked shelf on the inside, part of a hing is missing, and and there are missing pieces of the paper on the inside of the door. (See photos.)

A beautiful, early piece for the primitive home or collector.
