This beautiful 19thC Japanese Chinoiserie is a decorated and hand painted black lacquer pedestal serving plate made from paper mache\' with fancy scallops. There are some very minor edge flakes, primarily on the back edge. The image paint and gilding are in excellent condition, especially considering this piece is between 100 and 150 years old!
