19thC Victorian 1 Pint Pewter Tankard Beer Mug Interesting Pot Touch:

Very nice Victorian 1 pint pewter tankard with classic sloping straight sides and 2 sets of reeding. I\'m not sure of the maker but it has an interesting pot touch inside the base which looks like a hand next to the crown and X mark. I have seen it suggested this may be Gaskell and Chambers but only in one place so that may well not be the case. It has a Victorian verification stamp over area 6 and \"pint\" stamped to the front.

It measures 4 3/4\" high, 3 7/8\" wide at the base and 5 1/2\" across rim to handle. Condition is very good with no damage, splits, cracks, etc. Surface wear: there are a couple of small marks but very good overall otherwise.
